Martin heading off into Mission Ridge's sidecountry, where we found some nice untracked, dry powder. It was trippy looking down from the ski area to the snowless town of Wenatchee, the Columbia river, and the dry farmlands beyond. The radio tower is a further out in the sidecountry though we opted not to hike that far out. Heading down the sidecountry's Windy Ridge. A big ol' wide groomer, which Mission Ridge has plenty of for high-speed GS turns. This has to be one of the odder things I've ever seen at a ski area. The netting below surround two spirals that shoot through little tunnels. Little kids would love them. Making our way down to the base through an area that's had no ski traffic for days. Choose your own adventure to get to the base. Big Sky Ski Road TripFort Worden Trip
